Think You Have Problems?

Oil     Size 11 X 14
This painting started out as a self portrait and ended up providing great entertainment - the photo was not a good choice so after several attempts to make it work I just started  having fun with it. Since I did not have a plan I had no idea what would be next.  It just kept going and going.  For some reason every addition caused laughs and a story evolved as each addition was made.
Here's the story:
Seems this old lady was very poor.  She was sitting on her screened-in porch which was slowly rotting away. (let's name her Hilda) Hilda was swinging and smoking her corn cob pipe. Suddenly a hand came reaching down from the attic. Hilda  was so frightened that she bit the fingers so hard that they started bleeding.
It's up to you to finish the rest of the story!

In Morning Light

A Watercolor Painting

I like the soft colors
in this painting and

how the textures,
shapes
and colors
of the vases work
together
